History: Kurt Hummel is a student at Dalton Academy, a member of the Dalton Academy Warblers, and former student of William McKinley High School, the New Directions. Kurt currently lives with his supportive father Burt, stepmother Carole and stepbrother Finn. Before moving to Dalton, he was living alone with his father, Burt. Kurt's biological mother died when he was eight. Kurt transferred to Dalton Academy due to being bullied by Dave Karofsky.
