Coffee Shop

Kurt wandered into the coffee shop after school had ended. He ordered his usual coffee and took a seat at one of the tables. He hummed the song they were currently rehearsing with the Warblers quietly and drummed his fingers against the coffee cup to the beat.

His notes cut off when he saw someone from his last school, McKinley High. Well, he only saw the red of the letterman jacker or cheerios uniform and his mind immediately flickered to Karofsky. He didn't have Blaine with him. he was alone. How easy it would be for Karofsky to hurt him here. The place was almost dead. But, he tried to reassure himself, he wasn't sure it was Karofsky. He took a deep breath and tried to see who it was.

Alex walked in and had Karofsky behind him. Alex ordered a coffee.

I wandered into the coffee shop and ordered a cappuccino. It was raining outside so I had Noah's letterman jacked wrapped around my shoulders--because apparently I couldn't make it from my car to the coffee shop without catching pneumonia.

I took the coffee and paid and looked around for a table. When I spotted Kurt sitting on his own, I danced over with a smile. "Hey Kurtsie!" I smiled, setting my coffee on the table and taking the seat opposite him.

Kurt breathed a small sigh of relief when the jacket just turned out to be Becca. "Well, hello, Miss Garcia." He smiled and then frowned, confused. "As much as I can tell that the jacket is not your choice, why do you have it?"

"Oh, it's Noah's." I replied without thinking. As soon as the words were out, I face-palmed. I shrugged the jacket off because it was wet and cold. I hung it over the back of my chair.

Kurt raised one eyebrow when his friend mentioned Noah Puckerman. He didn't say anything; he knew Becca would know what he wanted.

I looked up at Kurt's expectant face. I sighed quietly. "What, nobody told you?" I said sarcastically. "Yes, I'm dating Noah." I smiled to myself at the fact that I actually was dating him, now.

Alex saw Becca with a boy. Suddenly Karofsky got mad and started walking toward the boy, Alex tripped Karofsky and threw him down. "No donuts for you!" Alex did a fat joke and walked over to them. "Hey Becca."
