Nostalgia ~ Brittany, Open

It was lunch time and Phoebe decided to go explore McKinley a little further. Since starting, she'd only been to the classrooms she needed and the cafeteria. It was a little frustrating with the grass under the wheels of her chair but she slowly make her way over toward where she saw both the Cheerios and the Titans practicing. She found a spot between the two teams but far enough back so she wasn't in the way. Phoebe flicked on her brakes and sat back as she watched both teams, the girls running and doing tricks and gymnastic-type movements, the boys, just running. And getting hit.

Phoebe didn't see this as torturing herself, although someone had once pointed out that it was. She saw it as reminiscing over her past and not losing intrest in her hobbies, even if she couldn't do them anymore. Of course, the doctors said that there was a possibility she would walk again, Phoebe didn't get her hopes up.

Brittany made her way to the field to where they were practising. She had linked pinkies with Santana and both of them were talking to some of the football players until they were told to get their butts up the pyramid for practise.

Brittany sprinted back and did a single tuck just to show off and then stopping once she was at the pyramid. She climbed up the pyramid to make it symmetrical and lifted her arms into a high V.

After the pyramid Brittany climbed down and saw a girl in a wheel chair. After practise she was going to go make friends with her, maybe she would help her with her math.

When the boys started talking tactics with Coach Bieste in the center of the field, Phoebe's attention turned to the girls who were still moving. Her eyes were particularly locked onto a blonde who was very talented. The girl watched as the blonde sprang and climbed and posed. She smiled a small smile briefly, for reasons she didn't know.

They performed their latest routines and then went and stood around the side of the area the titans were practising on. They had grabbed some pompoms and were cheering for the amusement of it. Brittany soon got bored and tucked her pompoms under her arms like a rugby ball and headed over to the girl in the wheel chair. "Hey." Brittany said and sat on the ground next to her.

Phoebe was more than a little shocked by the attention she received. She didn't usually get noticed. At all. "Hi." She replied quietly, as if Unsure whether the girl was talking to her.

Brittany smiled sweetly at the girl. "Are you a robot?" Brittany said all of a sudden. She was tempted to add if she was a transformer but couldn't remember what a transformer was so she left it.

Phoebe thought she should probably be offended by that question but she just laughed quietly. "Um.. Nope. Pretty sure I'm human." She replied with a kind smile. "I'm Phoebe." She added.

"Oh." Brittany said in the middle of disappointed and pleased. "I'm bicurious but you can call me Brittany." Brittany added.

Phoebe's head tilted ever-so-slightly to one side at the girl named Brittany's introduction. "Nice to meet you." The girl said, lifting one hand from her lap and held it out to Brittany.

Brittany looked at the girls hand before saying, "Did you know dolphins are just gay sharks?" But she was interrupted by Coach Sylvester saying, "Blondie! Get your small ass over here!" Brittany stood up and sprinted to where Coach was.

Phoebe dropped her hand when the girl left. She sat for a few moments, trying to figure out what Brittany could have possibly meant by that statement. Or maybe that's exactly what she meant. Phoebe frowned, confused, before she turned her attention to re-tying the lace of her sneakers.
