In the morning...

In celebration there should be happiness and joyfulness. Well, I felt non of that stuff. After last night a crawled on to my bed and cried myself to sleep. I didn't change or anything. I never wanted to get out of my coma. I didn't even here Becca come in.

When it was late enough to class as 'acceptable' for me to wake up, I got up quietly and moved to the desk. Ugh. I really needed a shower. But first, I thought I should wake up Quinn. I looked like death on a bad hair day but if she was late, she'd have Rachel rabbiting on all day and nobody needed that accompanied with a hangover. I walked to Quinn's bed and shook her gently. "Q?" I called.

"Quinn, what's wrong?" I asked, hearing the tears in her voice. "Quinn?" I helped her sit upright and knelt in front of her.

I didn't bother to check my hair or make-up when she sat me up. "Sam and me broke up" I said and flopped back down into the covers.

Well, that would keep her off my case. I scolded myself for thinking like that. "Oh My God, Quinn, why?" I exclaimed, sitting on the bed next to her.

"Finn. Sa..-" It pained her to say his name. "-Sam thinks I need time to think and said we should break up and I said I didn't want to and he.. he said he d...did." I explained. I felt like my heart has been split in half.

"Oh, Quinn." I said sadly. I hugged my friend and thought about what she meant about Finn. But then again, I didn't want to bring it up because it was clearly painful for her.

I hugged her back and then face planted the bed again. "So, what time did you get back?" I asked trying to take my mind off things.

"Around an hour after you left." I smiled, telling the lie I'd been practising for the last two hours.

I didn't answer and sat up. My phone. I left it in Sam and Finn's room. "Did you see Finn on your way back?" I asked Becca.

Well no because I only actually came home two hours ago. "Um... Nope." I replied. "Why?"

"It doesn't matter" I said flinging my legs off the end of the bed and tying my hair back with one of the hair bands on my wrist and heading to the door.

"Quinn, where are you going?" I asked, running after her. "We need to get ready."

"My phone and to go where?" I asked, opening the door and stepping out.

"I don't know; Rachel's probably got something planned that will only make our hangovers worse." I sighed.


[If Quinn's going in the room, Sam's gonna be like sleeping on the floor in the corner, k? xP 'cause he couldn't sleep but then he got so tired, he fell asleep where he was xP]

[Okay... the door can be unlocked:P]

"I'm not going" I said and side-stepped so I was in front of their door. I grabbed the handle and tried it and was surprised to see it swing open.

I followed Quinn into the hall and frowned when the door opened. "Oh, Q, you've got to. I'll die otherwise!"

"No, I feel awful, I have a headache and I look awful" I said as I stepped into their room and saw Sam in the corner asleep. I really wanted to go shake him awake gently and lead him into his bed but I couldn't because we weren't together. I saw my phone on his bed where I had left it last night and silently picked it up.

I sighed. "Qu-" I spotted Sam in the corner. I almost laughed. He'd probably fallen over, drunk and just not had the energy to move. I couldn't see Finn so I guessed he'd gone to Rachel--or someone else--'s room. "Quinn, we all feel terrible."

I sighed, "I'm still not going" I said and tripped over something which caused Sam to stir.

I sighed. "Well, it doesn't look like Sammy is either." I replied and caught Quinn's arm so she didn't fall when she tripped. My eyes moved to Sam when he stirred, wondering if he would wake up and if he did, would he be mad?

I breathed a sigh of relief when Becca caught me. I stayed silent to stop Sam from waking up.

I watched as Sam's eyes flickered open and dashed around the room until they landed on Quinn, the source of the noise. "Heeeeey Sam." I said awkwardly.

I pressed my lips together and stared at Becca and Sam, my eyes flickering between them both.
