It was time for the skating race between me and Noah. Again. But I lost my skates, so I had to let him win by default. I showed up to tell him that. When I got there, I leaned against a wall, waiting. Someone tapped my shoulder and I jumped. I turned to see who it was. Of course.. Noah. "Ready to skate?" "Um.. Noah, I lost my skates. I can't race." I explained.
He pulled his hand from behind his back. It was holding my skates. "Neeeever mind!" I laughed, reaching for them. "Ah, ah, ah." He said, pulling them out of my reach. "What do you say?" "Thank you Noah. You are God." "Nah-uh. Say; 'Puck, you are so hot and cool and badass and did I mention hot 'cause damn, you smokin." I almost laughed. "Noah, you are so hot and cool and badass and did I mention hot 'cause damn, boy, you smokin'!"

"Perfect!" I laughed and gave her the skates. "Put them on then, shortstuff."

I rolled my eyes and leaned against the wall, switching my shoes for my skates. I used Noah's shoulder to stay upright when I pulled on the second one. "Go get yours on then, Noah." I laughed skating around the corner and over to a bench.

When I had my skates on, I rolled around the corner too. I skated silently to behind where Becca was sitting. I dug my fingers into her sides.

I squeaked quietly and my body curved away from him. "Stop doing that!" I forgot I had my skates on so when I tried to stand up to get further away, I fell on my butt, laughing.

I laughed at Becca when she fell on her butt. I used the bench to skate in around to her, crouching next to her. "You okay?"

"Yeah." I answered, still laughing. I used his shoulder and the bench to get back up. I held my hand out for him, too.

I laughed and stood up, ignoring her outstretched hand. "Ready to race, shortie?"

"Okay, two things, mohawk man. One, I am not short. And two, I was ready since the day I met you." I said, using the front of my skates to gain height to look directly into his eyes.
