The Beach!!!

Sam laughed and swam to the edge again. He laid his palms on the stone and pulled himself straight to his feet so he was crouching, causing his biceps to flex unintentionally, the muscle rippling over the bone.
When he straightened up, he wrapped an arm around Quinn, making her starting-to-dry dress wet again. The white shirt he was wearing clung to his abs attractively, even turning slightly transparent due to the water. He didn't even seem to notice.
His hair was soaking and disheveled -a complete mess. But he didn't care about that, either. He would be in the sea at the beach, anyway.

Sam chuckled at Quinn's dramatic hand-waving. He walked with her to the gates that led practically to the beach. He opened the gate with one arm and made a gesture like a doorman or an old-movie gentleman.

Sam caught up and walked with Quinn across the road, taking her hand with a kind of shy smile.

Sam slowed when they reached the sand. It was amazing, the sun dancing lightly across the waves. He pulled off his shirts and put them on the sand in the middle of the beach.

Sam sat down, watching the waves. He chuckled quietly, remembering his mindset when he first got to Ohio. He'd tried to seem like a surfer. Even though most people told him he was a dork with the impressions and Na'vi. So that hadn't worked. He'd even put lemon juice in his hair to make it more blonde.
And yet, after all that, he had the most beautiful girlfriend he could possibly want. Even though he had no experience with girls. He'd come from an all-boys school.

Sam had to look away from Quinn before he started staring. He laid next to her and folded his hands behind his head, watching the sky. All he cared about was right here, right now. No pressures of the competition, no pressures of winning the football game, nothing. Just sun, sea, sand and sexy.

"Yes." Sam answered, smiling. He half-sat up, resting on his elbows. No Finn, no Puck... He added mentally, thinking the names of Quinn's exes who still posed threats, in Sam's eyes.

Sam shook his head, smiling. Today was supposed to be fun, relaxing. He's screwed that up. He got to his feet and held out his hand to Quinn. "Up for a swim?" He returned the way he spoke to his joking tone. "'Cause, you know, if you're not, I'm gonna throw you in, anyway." He grinned.

Sam laughed. He'd totally forgotten about his cell. He patted his pockets until he found his cell, wallet and room key. He dropped them onto the towel next to Quinn's purse.

Sam laughed too and let her drag him to the water. He was glad there wasn't a surfboard in sight because he didn't have the moves to go with his look.

The waves lapped around their ankles. It was surprisingly cold, compared to the hot LA sun. Sam let go of Quinn's hand and waded further into the sea, diving in when it got deep enough that he would just hit sand.

Sam rose to the surface and shook his hair out of his eyes again. He looked around for Quinn, grinning.

Sam smiled into Quinn's kiss. He wrapped one arm around her waist and used the other to splash Quinn.
